Dheeraj and Shashi spent years discussing what a home could mean. Looking near and far, debating with themselves and each other, they kept arriving at the same answer. A good home should be kind to the people who live in it, and bring them joy. That conviction became Graviti Living Spaces.
Together, they bring a rare combination of skills. With the Graviti Group and the lineage of Yashoda Hospitals, Dheeraj knows how to build lasting businesses, has a fine sense of taste, and believes good homes should reach more people. Shashi understands how a homes design shapes the lives within it, with a curiosity for materials that is unmatched.
Both share an instinct for no compromise, and a commitment to making people feel good about Graviti from first contact to moving in. Graviti is committed to a high quality of life, built with nature, craft, and commune, held together by thoughtful design.
Once the why was clear, the full scale of the how began to play out. We turned to our engineering minds and broke an ambitious goal into clear, precise problem statements. The question was simple. What would it take to solve each one for the long run, not just for a beautiful render?

Hanging Gardens sits on a super-prime site, but what made the decision easy were the 153 mature teak trees lining three sides of the property. To these we added a Japanese garden, a forest zone, wooded hills and valleys, and pocket gardens, leaving just enough room for the buildings.
The Japanese garden is developed by Masao Sone, a fifth-generation gardener from Kyoto whose family practice began with his great-grandfather. Masao and the Graviti team have worked closely to understand a Japanese garden in the Indian context. He spent a week in India in November 2025, visiting the nursery town of Kadiyam with Vinay, where Shashi and Dheeraj joined them.
For the founders, Japanese gardens are an inspiration rather than a theme. Both have travelled to Japan to understand them better, including Shashi's work in Kyoto, Kanazawa, and Osaka. It was his visit to Kenroku-en, the garden of the six attributes, that inspired the garden here.
We did not want to stop at the ground. We brought the landscape into every home through landscape bands and vertical courtyards, each designed for wind, depth, framing, drainage, and efficient irrigation. We use advanced systems from Netafim to reduce the effort of care and extend longevity and beauty.
Overlooking it all is an old peepal tree in the West Lawn, transplanted to its permanent home here. Nature at Hanging Gardens is in the expert hands of Vinay, who helped shape the landscape at Bengaluru Airport, including Terminal 2.
